I approached 1-2-1 fitness after struggling to find anyone to train with due to my significant health issues.
Richard spent a long time getting my medical history and planning a programme that worked with my complex medical needs.
When I started working with Richard two years ago I was needing to use crutches to walk. With carefully planned and progressive exercises I have been able to strengthen the muscles around my hip to enable me to walk unaided and I am even hoping to be able to run in the near future.
Richard’s care and attention to detail when planning and developing my exercise programme has meant that I have made steady progress in building up strength. My muscle mass has increased as has my bone density allowing me to walk and take part in other sporting activities which previously I wasn’t able to.
The gratitude I feel is immeasurable. To be able to walk un aided, something my consultant said wouldn’t be possible, is the most wonderful gift.
