I first started training with James in 2019 when I was 16 with the aim of increasing my strength, power, and overall performance for rugby. At the time I had no previous weightlifting experience. Not only did I see great results with James, but he also provided me with a strong skill and knowledge base that has given me the edge over many other athletes since I have moved to university and started playing high level rugby 15s and 7s. James also gave me important nutritional advice that has helped me to maximise my performance on game days.
